I've said it before, but 2012 was an almost indescribable year for me, with some extreme highs and deep lows. In the past year, I:
- Lived on 3 continents
- Rode an elephant
- Celebrated 1 year of marriage
- Finished my wedding scrapbook
- Gained 60 pounds, then lost 40
- Met and danced with 2 bellydance superstars
- Lost a beloved aunt
- Had 2 surgeries and 1 blood transfusion
- Cut off 10 inches of hair
- Read a lot of books, but not my goal of 75
- Reunited with old friends and made new ones
- And, oh yeah, I gave birth to 2 pretty wonderful babies!
All in all, it's been a pretty great year. It has reaffirmed the love I have for my family, near and far, and the bond I share with my husband, my soul mate. 'm very ready to start 2013! For one thing, this is my first post of the

ReplyDeleteYes, sounds like a pretty eventful year for you. From experience, we have to learn to handle the highs just as much as the lows. Sometimes when everything is going our way we can get lazy and rest on our laurels. So your title is perfect!
